The Widows From Waste: The Final Words and For Further Reading

The second collection of TORN has now been fully launched and its stories told. The journey from the first day to this day was much further apart than I had anticipated.

The importance of changing how we treat our clothes is still as relevant as it was three years ago. Some say that our habits of consuming fast fashion is starting to change. One can only hope this to be true and that the healthier change will happen in the near future.

It will always be relevant to learn more and to become more aware of how our choices affect out environment. It will always be important to keep conversations going on about these topics. In a world that needs to be changed, every step towards the better is worth taking.

Some of the books read, documentaries watched and podcasts listened while designing The Widows From Waste collection.

During the making of the collection, I read books, listened podcasts, watched documentaries and shared them in TORN’s social media channel. For any who might be interested of knowing more about the topic, I wanted to share them once more here in the blog.

With this list, my heartfelt thanks to all who supported the making of The Widows From Waste collection. Until the next collection, follow TORN’s latest happenings at the official Instagram channel.

Sincerely,

Iina
